The procedure for filing a stolen package claim is as follows:

  1. Provide notification of a stolen package within 10 days of a package theft using form below.
  2. File with the authorities:
    • A police report with the local law enforcement agency reporting the theft of the stolen merchandise.
    • A claim with the Vendor requesting replacement of the stolen merchandise or a refund for the purchase price of the stolen merchandise.
    • A claim with the Delivery Carrier requesting replacement of the stolen merchandise or a refund for the purchase price of the stolen merchandise.
  3. Provide copies of the police report, the denied Vendor claim, and the denied Delivery Carrier claim, using the form below, within 30 days of the package theft.

Stolen Package Claim Form

Provide the Subscription Number associated with the address of the stolen package.

You can find the Subscription Number by going to My Account > My Subscriptions.

Make sure the Porch Bandit Protected address associated with the Subscription Number matches the destination address shown on the shipping company's report.
1. Briefly tell us what happened.

2. Identify the type of merchandise within the package was stolen.

3. Include links to the product or upload documentation that describes the item stolen including the fair market value of the stolen merchandise.
